Dhaka Bank opens 39th sub-branch

Dhaka Bank PLC on Tuesday launched a new sub-branch at the Bangladesh Bar Council in Dhaka.

This is the bank’s 39th sub-branch operated under Dhaka Bank’s local office, according to a press release.

Md Asaduzzaman, minister for law, justice and parliamentary affairs, inaugurated the sub-branch as the chief guest. The newly inaugurated sub-branch will provide customers with a range of banking services, including utility bill payments, fund transfers between accounts and to other banks, and other available banking facilities.

Md Ruhul Quddus Kazal, attorney general for Bangladesh and chairman of the Bangladesh Bar Council; Abdul Hai Sarker, chairman of the bank; and Osman Ershad Faiz, managing director and CEO, attended the programme.

The sub-branch marks another step forward in that journey, bringing banking services closer to customers and working together to build a more connected and inclusive financial future.

Among others, Md Bodruddoza Badal, senior advocate and chairman of the executive committee of the Bangladesh Bar Council; Zainul Abedin, a member of parliament and vice-chairman of the council; Abdullah Al Ahsan, director of Dhaka Bank PLC; AKM Shahnawaj, additional managing director; and Akhlaqur Rahman, Mostaque Ahmed, Sheikh Abdul Bakir, AMM Moyen Uddin, SM Abdullah Hil Kafi, Mukarram Hossain Chowdhury and Md Waliul Islam, deputy managing directors, were also present.
