Bus runs over cousins on highway

Two cousins ​​were killed after a passenger bus ran them over at Navaran Colony junction on Jashore-Benapole highway at 11am yesterday. 

The deceased are Bipul Hossain (20) and Murad Hossain (23). They both worked as internet cable operators.

Navaran Highway Police Station Sub-inspector Tito Debnath said Bipul and Murad were returning home from Jashore's Jhikargachha upazila on a hired motorcycle, and a bus coming from the opposite direction ran them over, killing the two on spot.

The rider was seriously injured  and was admitted to Jashore General Hospital.

A case has been filed with Sharsha Police Station.
