2 missing in trawler capsize

Two fishermen went missing as a trawler capsized in Saint Martin's Island area under Teknaf upazila of the district yesterday. Nur Ahmad, former chairman of Saint Martins' Island Union Parishad, said the trawler carrying 11 fishermen sank in the Bay in the morning due to rough weather. Some of the fishermen managed to swim ashore while locals rescued some others. However, two fishermen still remained missing. Coastguard members launched a drive to rescue the duo, the chairman said.
