3 fraudsters arrested

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab-8) arrested three alleged members of a gang, involved in bKash fraud and mugging, from Madhukhali upazila early yesterday.

Debashish Karmakar, company commander of Rab-8 in Faridpur, said acting on a tip-off, they conducted a drive at Dumain village and arrested Nur Alam, 19, Shaharup Sheikh, 18, and Shakil Sheikh, 19, around 12:30am.

They also seized 16 mobile phone sets and 27 SIM cards from them.
