Carpenter electrocuted

A carpenter was electrocuted at Dharabarsha village in Sharishabari upazila of the district yesterday. The deceased is Rafiqul Islam, 38, son of Mohir Uddin of the village. Locals said Rafiqul came in contact with a snapped electric wire beside his house around 12:00pm and fell to the ground. He was rushed to the upazila health complex where the on-duty doctors declared him dead.
