Indian clothes seized

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized Indian sarees, three pieces and tea worth about Tk 5.40 crore at Buikura village in Abhoynagor upazila of Jesore district early yesterday. Lt Col Jahangir Hossain, commanding officer of BGB-26 Battalion, said on secret information, the border guards raided the area and seized the smuggled items. None was arrested in this connection, said the CO.
