‘Rockstar’ cleared for Eid-ul-Azha release
"Rockstar", the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha release starring Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan, has received clearance from the Bangladesh Film Certification Board ahead of its theatrical release.
The film had been granted approval for release. Deputy director Moinuddin of the certification board told the media that the official certificate had not yet been handed over to the producers, though the process was underway and expected to be completed shortly.

The film has already generated strong buzz online following the release of its songs and teaser, with many social media users describing “Rockstar” as one of the most anticipated films of this year’s Eid. Audiences have also expressed excitement over seeing Shakib Khan in a new on-screen avatar.
Directed by Azman Rusho, “Rockstar” stars Sabila Nur, Tangia Methila, and Tariq Anam Khan among others. The film has been produced by Anjan Chowdhury Pintu under the banner of Sun Motion Pictures.
In addition to its local release, “Rockstar” will also open internationally from June 5 in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom through distributor Shopno Scarecrow.
