Several Bangladeshi musicians and bands are currently on concert tours across the United States. After 17 years, popular singer Asif Akbar has returned to perform in the country, while rock band Aurthohin is touring the US for the first time. On Saturday (October 25), both acts shared the same stage in Boston.

Speaking about her diagnosis, she said, “I had breast cancer. In European countries, we see that around three to four per cent of women develop this disease. No one in my family had cancer, so I don’t know what it means for the next generation. For those living abroad, routine tests are done every three or four years — I think that should be introduced in our country as well. It would be a great step forward. But there’s no need to fear cancer. People are making comebacks even from stage three or four, and living happy, fulfilled lives — just like me.”

The first song from the upcoming film “Delupi” has been released. The humorous, rap-infused, and playful track, titled “Godhuli Logne”, adds a refreshing and vibrant tone to the movie.

BLACKPINK’s Jisoo has officially made her solo debut on the Billboard Hot 100, entering the chart at No 72 with her new single “Eyes Closed”, a collaboration with British singer Zayn Malik. The track, released on October 10, marks Jisoo’s first appearance on the chart as a solo artist.

Popular Indian singer-songwriter Nachiketa Chakraborty, known for his unique storytelling and soulful lyrics, has released a new song titled “Dakhina Batash.” The track explores the colours of life and relationships, combining the essence of classic Nachiketa with a refreshing new sound.

An Ayub Bachchu Museum and Cultural Hub is set to be established in Dhaka’s Moghbazar area at the initiative of the Ayub Bachchu Foundation. 

The three-day Sadhusang and rural fair, marking the 135th death anniversary of Fakir Lalon Shah, began on Friday. This year, a record number of sadhus, spiritual mentors, and devotees gathered at Cheuriya in Kushtia. Strict security measures were in place for the visitors’ safety.

The album features internationally acclaimed artistes, Grammy-nominated guitarist Frank Gambale, saxophonist Bob Franceschini, bassist Babbie Lewis, and Ahnaf Salehin, the son of Basebaba Suman. The album is dedicated to the memory of the sound engineer and artiste, A K Ratul.

Paul Daniel Ace Frehley, co-founder and lead guitarist of the legendary rock band Kiss and a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, has died at 74 following injuries sustained in a fall last month, his family confirmed.
