Sneak peek of Shakib Khan-starrer ‘Mohabbat’ revealed
Shakib Khan is set to return to the romantic genre as he reunites with filmmaker Himel Ashraf for the upcoming film “Mohabbat”, produced by Arshad Adnan.
The film was officially announced on Thursday evening. According to the makers, “Mohabbat” is scheduled to hit cinemas during Eid-ul-Azha 2027.
The announcement poster offers the first glimpse of the film, showing Shakib wearing an overcoat and holding a gun, while a woman dressed in a white salwar kameez and red orna holds his hand. Drops of red scattered across the poster add to its dramatic tone.
In separate Facebook posts, Himel, Arshad, and Shakib wrote, “Sometimes, love comes with a price, a promise, and a struggle… Introducing ‘Mohabbat’, the beginning of a new story and a new journey. See you next Eid-ul-Azha!”
Himel previously directed Shakib in “Priyotoma” and “Rajkumar”, both produced by Arshad. “Mohabbat” marks the trio’s latest collaboration.
Details about the film’s storyline, Shakib’s co-star, and when filming will begin have yet to be announced.
