Chanchal stuns as Sohrab for 'Boli'

Chanchal Chowdhury keeps surprising fans with each of his new projects. The teaser of Shankha Dasgupta's debut web series, "Boli" has revealed Chanchal's look, where he is seen in a completely different avatar.

"Boli" is the story of a lawless island, where mafias rule the area. As short-haired Chanchal aims a gun, he astonishes his opponent Shohel Mondol Rana, as the teaser discloses.

In a conversation with The Daily Star, Chanchal shared about his new look in the project. "I have never appeared in this kind of look before," says the National Film Awardee.

After the release of the teaser, the series became subject to much speculation, especially around Chanchal's impressive appearance.

"The response that I have received after the teaser dropped is amazing! I did not expect it."

The "Aynabaji" actor also shared that the plot of the series is critical. It depicts a lawless 'Char' area, where the more powerful will take over property and valuables.

"Boli" will be released on Hoichoi in December. Chanchal is confident that the audience will appreciate the team's effort. "I hope the audience will like this new way of storytelling," he says.

Chanchal has completed working in Golam Sohrab Dodul's web project "Rupkotha Noy". He is also taking preparations for Anjan Dutta's web production.

For television, Chanchal has completed the shooting of the first lot of the mega serial "Shonda Panda". He is also shooting for the fiction "Kuhukkal", directed by Alok Hasan.
