I ran away from school to watch Humayun Faridee on screen: Intekhab Dinar
Noted actor Intekhab Dinar will be seen essaying the role of a treacherous villain in Saidul Islam Rana's movie "Birotto." The movie, starring Emon, Nipun Akter, Nishat Nawar Salwa, will be released on September 16.
A special press conference was orgainsed yesterday at BFDC's Zahir Raihan Color Studio, ahead of its release. Directors Sohanur Rahman Sohan, Shaheen Sumon, and Mushfiqur Rahman Gulzar, among others, were also present at the event.
"We had a theatre called 'Purobi Cinema Hall' at our grandparent's house in Mymensingh. We used to get beautiful posters of our favourite actors including Razzak, Shabana, and Babita at our house. My childhood was greatly inspired by these posters, and it instilled a love for cinema within me."
"I remember that I used to run away from school to watch Humayun Faridee's movie. I was spellbound by his impeccable performance. This is the first time that I have broken my usual image to penetrate into the skin of the lecherous character. I don't know whether I have been able to justify my role but, but I did my best -- as I want to experiment more in this genre," added the actor.
