Kazi Hayat hospitalised

National Film Award-winning director Kazi Hayat is currently under treatment at a private hospital in Dhaka. 

His son, Kazi Maruf, confirmed the news to The Daily Star. "I would like to ask for everyone's support and prayers, as my father has been hospitalised. Doctors are suspecting a heart blockage. If that is the case, a ring will be placed around a valve of his heart," he said.

Kazi Hayat is also a noted writer, producer, and actor. 

In March this year, he was hospitalised, after testing positive for Covid-19.
