Non-bailable warrant issued against Sonakshi Sinha in fraud case

Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha got herself embroiled in legal trouble, after a non-bailable warrant was issued against her in a fraud case.

The "Dabangg" actress was accused of charging a whopping Rs 37 lakh for an event in Delhi, and then failed to make an appearance in the programme.

As per reports, the event organiser Pramod Sharma approached the manager to return the money several times, but her manager refused to pay back the sum. Later on, a complaint was filed against the actress in 2019 for committing fraud.

Sonaksi Sinha reportedly came to Moradabad to record her statement in this case. However, the actress's continuous absence led the court to issue a warrant against the actress in the fraud case.
