Ranbir Kapoor under fire over his love for beef, #boycottBrahmastra trending
It seems Ayan Mukerji's "Brahmastra" has now also become a victim of the ongoing social-media "boycott" movement. The movie came under scrutiny after a Twitter user dug up an old video of Ranbir Kapoor, where the actor is discussing his love for red meat, particularly beef.

The video has now gone viral, with many people tweeting "Boycott Brahmastra" in response to what many have alleged is disrespect towards Hindu culture. The video is from the time when Ranbir was promoting Imtiaz Ali's film "Rockstar", where the actor discussed his love for food and how he admires beef.
"Brahmastra" had already been facing controversy on social media, ever since a scene was released that showed Ranbir Kapoor entering a temple while wearing shoes. Fans noted that this scene was utterly disrespectful to Hindu culture. Later on, Ayan Mukerji had to clarify that the scene was shot in a pandal, and not a temple, so as to appease fans.
