Salman Khan given ‘Personality of the Year’ award in Saudi Arabia

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has been awarded the Personality of the Year award at the Joy Awards, held in Saudi Arabia's Riyadh.

The "Dabangg" star posted a picture along with a caption from the award function. The picture shows the actor donning a black suit and receiving the award from the Saudi Royal Court Advisor and Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, Turki Alalshikh.

"My brother Bu Nasser, it was really lovely meeting you," the social media post read. 

Earlier, a video made the rounds on the internet from the event where Salman Khan was seen introducing himself to John Travolta. "I work in the Indian film industry and my name is Salman Khan," he said to the Hollywood star. 

On the work front, Salman Khan will soon finish the remaining shoot of "Tiger 3". He will also start shooting for the sequels "Kick 2", "Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali" and "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" soon.
