Shah Rukh Khan to get ‘Brahmastra’ spin-off
Shah Rukh Khan made a fantastic cameo appearance as the magnanimous Vanrastra, in Ayan Mukherji's mythological fantasy "Brahmastra". His special appearance has been termed by many as the 'best part' of the film.
Social media users have now demanded that the creators of "Brahmastra'' create a spin-off that focuses on Shah Rukh Khan's character. In the movie, Shah Rukh Khan plays the role of a scientist called Mohan Bhargav, who wields the powers of Vanrastra within him.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. Ayan Mukerji has now confirmed that they have been considering the idea of a spin-off around Vanrastra. The director went on to tease that the spin-off will focus on the origin story of the scientist.
"Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva" has been breaking records at the box offices. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy, in pivotal roles. Fans were also excited to see cameos by Shah Rukh and Deepika Padukone in the film. Ayan Mukerji has plans to make two more films in the franchise, with which he intends to establish a multiverse called Astraverse.
