Tabu starts shooting for ‘Drishyam 2’ in Goa

Acclaimed Indian actress Tabu has started shooting for the sequel of her 2015 crime thriller, "Drishyam" in Goa. She will reprise her role as Meera Deshmukh, Inspector General of Police, in the film.

Tabu posted a picture on Instagram along with the caption- "Day 1 of Drishyam shooting''. Fans were excited to see her reprising the fierce inspector's role.

The film was originally supposed to be shot from the first week of January, but it got delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran and Ishita Dutta will return in the sequel.

Ajay Devgn has completed shooting for the first slot of the film. 

"Drishyam" is a Hindi adaptation of 2013's Malayalam film of the same name. The movie centered around a family whose life changed for the worse after an unfortunate incident with their older daughter.
