Clinic for drug addicts opens

Located at Nikunja on the Airport Road, the clinic will offer a wide range of treatment facilities. It is the second branch of Prottoy Medical Clinic.

A drug addict will need to stay 21 to 40 days at the clinic for detoxification, doctors said.

If necessary, the management of the clinic may send a patient to a rehabilitation centre for complete recovery.

Kayes Sami, managing director of Oriental Bank, Tapan Chowdhury, managing director of Square Group, and Nazmul Haq, managing director of the clinic, were present at the inaugural session.
