Robbery in Ctg: Four arrested
Police arrested four alleged robbers after a gang looted valuables worth about Tk three lakh from a house at Boyeelgaon in Banshkhali upazila in the early hours of yesterday.
Police and witnesses said a gang of 15 robbers, reportedly led by one Hossain Rashid Sohel, broke into the house of one Shahjahan at around 2am.
They looted electronics goods, gold ornaments and money at gunpoint.
Later, police arrested Sohel, Jasim Uddin Salim, Abul Kalam and Nazrul Islam.
