Kamar Ahmad Simon will host the special online screening titled, ‘Berlinale Spotlight: World Cinema Fund’. The special screening has been arranged by Goethe-Institut Bangladesh for the first time in four South Asian countries namely India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.

Freedom fighter and actor Mujibur Rahman Dilu passed away at around 6:40 am today, at the capital’s United Hospital. The news was confirmed by his son, Ayon Rahman. He was suffering from multiple health problems, including lung infection. His condition was critical. Although he tested negative for Covid-19, he had severe pneumonia.
