The twelfth edition of The Daily Star-Standard Chartered Celebrating Life contest will be held today at the International Convention City, Bashundhara (ICCB).

The beauty pageant competition Miss Universe Bangladesh, concluded with crowning the winner, recently. Shirin Akter Shela became the first Miss Universe Bangladesh 2019. She was crowned by the former Miss Universe (1994), Sushmita Sen, an Indian actor.

His scintillating and versatile way of playing and masterful improvisational dexterity gained him acclaim across the globe. He is also a composer and singer, with three solo albums to his credit.

Artist Mohammad Mohiuddin Ahamed graduated with a BFA in painting and drawing from National University and an MFA in painting from University of Alternative Development. Impressions of Surroundings -5, his ninth solo exhibition, is currently taking place at Alliance Française de Dhaka (AFD). Alongside being a professional artist, he is a school teacher. He is also passionate about music and writing.
