IFIC Bank cardholders to enjoy discounts at Dhaka Regency

IFIC Bank PLC has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Dhaka Regency Hotel & Resort, one of the country’s renowned five-star hotels and resorts, to provide discounts to its cardholders.

Helal Ahmed, chief of branch business and head of operations at the bank, and Md Mahmud Hasan, director of sales and marketing at the hotel and resort, signed the MoU at IFIC Tower in Dhaka yesterday, according to a press release.

Under the MoU, the bank’s debit and credit cardholders will be able to enjoy a 50 percent discount on room rates, 40 percent on buffet dining and 10 percent on the à la carte menu at the hotel.

They will also get a 50 percent discount on banquet venues, a 15 percent discount on spa services and a 30 percent discount on health club (gym) facilities at the hotel and resort.

Md Monitur Rahman, deputy managing director and chief information officer of the bank, and Sheikh Akhter Uddin Ahmed, deputy managing director and chief of loan performance, attended the signing ceremony.

Md Zakir Hossain, head of cards and digital banking at the bank, and Fabliha Gulrukh, assistant marketing manager of the hotel and resort, along with other senior officials from both organisations, were also present.
