Premier Bank opens relocated branch in Dhaka
Premier Bank PLC opened its relocated branch at Shefa Tower in Baridhara, Dhaka on Sunday.
Arifur Rahman, chairman of the bank, inaugurated the branch as the chief guest, according to a press release.
At the event, Arifur said, “Premier Bank’s head office is now located at Shanta Pinnacle, the country’s first 40-storey building, which will take our banking services to new heights.”
“As part of our ongoing transformation, with the motto ‘moving onwards and upwards’ and the aim of providing improved services to our customers, we have relocated our Baridhara branch as well.”
Highlighting the importance of digital banking, he said, “Through our pMoney app, expatriate Bangladeshis can send money to Bangladesh quickly and securely without the need to visit any branch.”
M Nurul Alam, independent director of the bank and chairman of Premier Bank Securities Limited, and Md Sazzad Hossain, independent director and chairman of the risk management committee, attended the programme.
Addressing the gathering, Md Monzur Mofiz, managing director of the bank, said, “The trust and long-standing relationships of our customers remain the bank’s most valuable asset.”
“The new location of the Baridhara branch will enable us to further expand and enhance the quality of our services while continuing to meet the evolving needs of our customers,” he added.
