Prime Bank to offer payroll banking facilities to PalmPay employees

Prime Bank PLC has signed a payroll banking agreement with PalmPay, a global fintech company and digital banking platform, to provide comprehensive payroll banking services to its employees and partners.

Mamur Ahmed, senior executive vice-president and head of distribution network of the bank, and Jun Zeng, managing director of the global fintech company, signed the agreement at the bank’s corporate office in Dhaka recently, according to a press release.

Under the agreement, the fintech company’s employees will enjoy payroll banking facilities, including salary accounts with competitive rates, dual-currency debit cards with fee waivers and lifestyle benefits, and consumer banking products and services on preferential terms, among others.

They will also have access to PrimePay, the bank’s omnidigital platform that enables seamless and automated salary disbursement, along with convenient, round-the-clock corporate payment solutions.

Mohammad Salauddin Hazari, senior executive vice-president and head of commercial banking at the bank; Hasina Fardous, senior vice-president and head of payroll banking; Md Al Amin, unit head of commercial banking; and Fatema Afrin, senior relationship manager of commercial banking, attended the programme.

Md Rezaul Karim, business development manager of payroll banking at the bank; Md Sohel Rana, relationship manager of payroll banking; and Khandokar Tanveer Ahsan, manager of human resources at the fintech company, along with other officials from both organisations, were also present at the signing ceremony.
