Standard Islami Bank holds town hall meeting
Standard Islami Bank PLC recently held its Town Hall Meeting 2026 at the Radisson Blu Water Garden Hotel in Dhaka.
The meeting brought together branch heads from across the network, along with senior executives from the head office. Riad Mahmud Chowdhury, managing director of the bank, presided over the meeting as the chief guest, according to a press release. In his address, Riad assured participants that their feedback would be given due consideration in shaping the bank’s future agenda.
He underscored the value of active participation, continuous self-development and collective effort in executing the bank’s strategic initiatives and achieving sustainable growth in the years ahead.
He further urged teams at both the head office and branch levels to work in close coordination, reinforcing the bank’s commitment to Shariah-compliant and superior, technology-driven banking services as the foundation of its continued development.
He concluded by offering clear guidance and direction for the successful delivery of the bank’s business objectives.
The programme centred on an interactive session featuring in-depth discussions on the bank’s business priorities, leadership development and long-term growth strategy.
During the open forum, branch heads shared their field-level insights, highlighting business experiences, operational challenges and emerging opportunities, and put forward a range of recommendations to strengthen performance across the network.
Md Siddiqur Rahman, additional managing director of the bank, was also present, along with other senior officials.
