Printed cause list for HC to stay till Feb 15

The system of printed cause list, a roll of cases to be heard by the High Court any day, will run till February 15.

The Supreme Court authorities were set to replace it with an online cause list on February 1.

Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha changed the decision at the request from the Supreme Court Bar Association, SC Registrar General Syed Aminul Islam said. Around 50 lawyers led by SCBA President Khandker Mahbub Hossain and Bangladesh Bar Council's Vice Chairman Abdul Baset Majumder met the chief justice yesterday and made the request so that they could get acquainted with the online cause list.
