Fish trader commits 'suicide'

A local trader allegedly committed suicide at Bishohari village in Jhikargachha upazila of Jessore district on Sunday. The deceased is Obaidur Rahman, 25, son of Hossain Ali of the village. Quoting victim's family members, police said Obaidur borrowed a handsome amount of money for his business. He, however, failed to repay the loan as he suffered a loss in the business recently. Embarrassed by the lenders' pressure, Obaidur killed himself by taking poison on Sunday night.
