An Ayub Bachchu Museum and Cultural Hub is set to be established in Dhaka’s Moghbazar area at the initiative of the Ayub Bachchu Foundation. 

The three-day Sadhusang and rural fair, marking the 135th death anniversary of Fakir Lalon Shah, began on Friday. This year, a record number of sadhus, spiritual mentors, and devotees gathered at Cheuriya in Kushtia. Strict security measures were in place for the visitors’ safety.

In a statement, Shah Rukh Khan reflected on the festival, “Cinema has always been my home, and watching these films return to the big screen feels like a heartwarming reunion. These movies belong as much to the audience as they do to me. I hope people relive the joy, the music, and the shared magic of these cinematic journeys.” Niharika Bijli, Lead Strategist at PVR INOX Ltd, echoed the excitement, “Shah Rukh Khan is more than a star — he’s a feeling. This festival is our way of celebrating his incredible legacy and the joy he’s brought to audiences over the years.”

Professionally, Parineeti was last seen in “Amar Singh Chamkila” (2024), opposite Diljit Dosanjh, who portrayed the titular Punjabi singer. The musical drama depicted the tragic love story of Chamkila and his wife, Amarjot Kaur, and also featured Apinderdeep Singh, Anjum Batra, Nisha Bano, and Kumud Mishra. The film is currently streaming on Netflix.
