Dola Rahman, Niloy Ahmed team up for new dance number ‘Kismot’

Singer Dola Rahman has returned with a new dance number, "Kismot", featuring D Rock Star Niloy Ahmed. The song was released on Gaanchil Music’s YouTube channel yesterday evening and has already begun receiving a positive response from listeners and viewers.

The lyrics of "Kismot" were penned by Asif Iqbal, while Adib Kabir composed and arranged the music. He has also lent his voice to the rap portion of the track.

The party-themed music video features an elaborate setup, energetic dance sequences and a vibrant atmosphere. Directed by Taneem Rahman Angshu, the video has been choreographed by Ruhul Amin. Dola Rahman and Niloy Ahmed have also performed in the video alongside a group of dancers.

Speaking about the song, Dola Rahman said, “‘Kismot’ is essentially a dance number. The song creates a certain excitement in your heart as soon as you hear it, and naturally, it makes you want to dance. I have always enjoyed Asif Iqbal’s lyrics, and this time too, the song has been created with his words. Adib composed and arranged the music, while Niloy and I sang the song and also performed in the video. Overall, it has the feel of an item song from a film — something that makes everyone want to dance together. I believe ‘Kismot’ will create a wave of dance among the audience.”

Lyricist Asif Iqbal said, “After ‘Moyna’, we tried to create another dance number. Dola and Niloy have sung it very well. Taneem Rahman Angshu has made a wonderful video that complements the lyrics. Everything has come together to make the song lively. I believe ‘Kismot’ will bring a new sense of joy to the audience and receive a good response from listeners.”

Niloy Ahmed is also optimistic about the song. “Kismot is a great dance number. During the shoot, we spent a lot of time dancing along to the song ourselves. The entire experience was full of fun. I believe that after its release, audiences will also dance along with us to the music. After ‘Moyna’, this is another enjoyable collaboration with Gaanchil Music. I hope listeners will enjoy the song,” he said.
