Rahman is preparing the special music video as a celebration of Bhosle’s extraordinary musical legacy, with its release planned for World Music Day. The composer announced on X yesterday that Shah Rukh Khan would be part of the highly anticipated project.

The song will bring together several voices, including Rahman himself, alongside archival vocals from Bhosle. Sharing a note on X, Rahman thanked the "Baazigar" actor for agreeing to participate in the tribute.

“A heartfelt thank you to dear Shah Rukh Khan for graciously agreeing to be part of Asha Bhosle ji's tribute music video,” Rahman wrote.

In June, Rahman released the teaser for the tribute song, offering a glimpse into the making of the project. The footage featured artists, musicians and performers from different backgrounds coming together to celebrate Bhosle’s immense contribution to Indian music.

Rahman revealed that the tribute had been conceived while Bhosle was still alive. In an X post, he described the project as a celebration of a voice that had transcended generations, languages and borders. He added that the team had hoped Bhosle would be able to witness the love and gratitude behind the project.

One of the most emotional moments in the teaser is Bhosle’s own appearance. Having participated in the project during its production, the legendary singer can be seen recording in the studio alongside Rahman and the other artists.
