Eamin Haque Bobby denies marriage rumours
Actress Eamin Haque Bobby has strongly denied recent media reports claiming that she is married. She has expressed anger and concern over the spread of what she describes as false information.
Speaking to The Daily Star, the actress addressed the controversy in detail, along with questions about her career and upcoming involvement in industry politics.
This person (Mirza Abul Bashar) is being referred to as your alleged husband. What would you like to say about this?
The reports describing him as my husband are completely false. At first, these stories did not affect me much. But I have a family, and they live abroad. Seeing such news has been very upsetting for them. I do not know why those outlets published these reports. There is no evidence or source to support such claims.
Some people are forgetting the ethics of this profession and dragging it to a lower standard. As a result, it is creating even more problems for our industry.
Then why do you think people are reporting him as your alleged husband?
If anyone can prove that he is my husband, I will give them whatever they want. No one has any proof. I only did some official work for that company. Beyond that, I have no relationship with him. Whatever interaction there was, it was strictly professional.
When you go to an office, they show respect to an artiste and offer a seat. Those photos have been misused to spread false news. These reports are completely fabricated.
Why are people talking about marriage rather than a romantic relationship?
I honestly do not understand why they are talking about marriage. Seeing news reports claiming that he is my husband has even made my mother ill. I have to keep explaining to her again and again that these reports are false.
Apart from my work, I have never gone viral for anything else. Perhaps news involving that person would not have attracted attention otherwise. He was a partial producer of one of my films, so that may be why such stories have been spread.
If anyone has proof that we are married, they should publish it. I will accept whatever they say then. I challenge them.
You have not been seen in many high-quality projects in recent years. The projects you have appeared in have also drawn mixed reactions.
Every actor goes through a phase where they work on one or two projects that may not meet expectations. It has happened to me as well. However, even if some of those projects were not of the highest quality, I remained committed to my character and gave my best performance. I hope to be more selective and attentive to these matters in the future.
Are you participating in the Film Artistes Association election?
Yes, that is true. I am taking part in the upcoming Film Artistes Association election from the Shiba Sanu–Joy Chowdhury panel.
About ten years ago, when I was very busy with work, I participated in the election from the Shakib Khan–Misha Sawdagor panel and won. Reflecting on that experience, I felt that if I can stand beside fellow artistes and contribute to their welfare now, it would be meaningful. That is why I have decided to take part in the election.
