Jim Carrey marries longtime girlfriend Min Ah in private ceremony

Hollywood star Jim Carrey has reportedly married his longtime girlfriend, Min Ah, in an intimate ceremony in Los Angeles.

According to PEOPLE, a spokesperson for the 64-year-old actor confirmed that Carrey and 32-year-old Min Ah exchanged vows in a small, private ceremony attended by close friends and family.

News of the wedding comes seven months after the couple made their first public appearance together at the César Awards in Paris in February. Carrey received an honorary award at the ceremony and referred to Min Ah as his “companion” during his acceptance speech, which he delivered entirely in French.

“Thank you to my wonderful family, my daughter Jane, and my grandson Jackson. I love you now and forever. Thank you to my sublime companion, Min Ah,” Carrey said.

He also paid tribute to his late father, Percy Joseph Carrey, crediting him with teaching him the values of love, generosity, and laughter.

Carrey and Min Ah were reportedly seen together privately as early as 2022, although they largely kept their relationship out of the public eye. Their appearance at the César Awards marked their first public outing as a couple.

Carrey was previously married to Melissa Womer, with whom he shares a daughter, Jane Erin Carrey. The couple married in 1987 and divorced in 1995.
