Syed Ahmed Shawki directorial web series “Taqdeer” premiered on Hoichoi in December 2020, to much critical acclaim. The series has now won the Best Regional Web Series of the year in the 'Gold' category in the prestigious Promax India Award. According to a press note, there was a competition among other nominated contents from ZEE5 Global, Alt Balaji, Hotstar and Voot, in which “Taqdeer”  was recognised as the best web series of the year.
