Actor Mostafiz Shahin suffers from heart attack

Prominent theatre actor Mostafiz Shahin suffered from a massive heart attack recently, and a blockage has been found inside his main artery. A ring (stent) was placed in his heart and he is currently undergoing treatment at a reputed hospital.

Mostafiz Shahin's wife, singer Farhin Khan Joyita confirmed the news on her Facebook account.

"Mostafiz suffered from a massive heart attack on June 9 at 10 pm. We immediately took him to the hospital and the next day, an angiogram showed that he had a blockage in his main artery. The doctors immediately put a ring in his heart," the post read.

"He is currently stable right now. We have shifted him from CCU to HDU. Since the attack was massive, he will be kept under observation for the time being. Please do pray for my friend, my life partner, so that he gets well soon," the post concluded.
