‘Bangladeshi cinema can’t run without Shakib Khan’: Ahmed Sharif

Renowned actor Ahmed Sharif attended the US premiere of Shakib Khan starrer "Golui" at Jamaica Multiplex Cinemas in New York. Afterwards, Sharif was full of praise for the Dhallywood superstar.

"My heartiest congrats to S A Haque Olike and the entire team of 'Golui' for their successful US premiere of the movie. I am super proud of my brother Shakib Khan, who has given a marvellous performance in the movie. My heart has become full after seeing his superb acting skills," said Ahmed Sharif.

"Bangladeshi cinema can't run without Shakib Khan. This has been proven by the success of 'Golui'. Shakib captures the hearts and souls of the Bangladeshi audience, and he has carried our film industry for the past twenty years. I pray to God that he gets to continue his successful spree in the future as well," added Sharif.

"Golui" was released in Bangladesh on the occasion of Eid ul-Fitr. The government-granted film is co-produced by Khorshed Alam Khosru. The movie stars Shakib Khan and Puja Chery in the lead roles.
