Blender’s Choice - The Daily Star OTT & Digital Content Awards 2021 to air today

On September 3, Bangabandhu International Convention Centre was filled to the brim with celebrities, influencers and artistes to celebrate the Blender's Choice - The Daily Star OTT & Digital Content Awards 2021—felicitating the best OTT and digital content from July 2020 to December 2021.

The stars began arriving in the evening and walked the red carpet, mingling with fans and participating in stylised glam shots.

As the night went on, those present in the venue's 'Hall of Fame' witnessed the industry's top stars, directors, producers and crew members receive awards for their hard work. Also awarded, were some of the top content produced on OTT platforms. 

Now, everyone, who could not attend the programme, will be able to watch the event unfold before their own eyes, as Channel i will broadcast the Grand Gala event today at 5:20 pm. 

Presenting awards in a total of 31 categories, all of the nominees were selected by an expert jury in two main sections—critics and popular. The winners for the popular categories were chosen by the audience, through online voting, while the winners in the critics' category were selected by the jury.

The Minister of Commerce, Tipu Munshi, MP graced the occasion as the chief guest, while Mirza Salman Ispahani, chairman of Ispahani Tea Limited, and Mahfuz Anam, editor and publisher of The Daily Star, were also present at the event alongside popular celebrities.
