Farooque all smiles with his children at hospital

Veteran actor Farooque has been receiving treatment at Singapore's Mount Elizabeth Hospital for almost one and a half years now. The actor's wife, Farhana Pathan, has been staying with him during treatment, since March 2021. As the actor's health improves, Sarat and Fariha, his son and daughter, went to visit him at the hospital. The actor's niece, Lamiha, also accompanied them.

Fans were relieved when they saw a video of the actor on his birthday. The "Sujon Sokhi" actor turned 75 this August, and he requested fans to pray for his speedy recovery.

Born in 1948, Farooque made his debut with the film, "Jolchobi", later on winning the hearts of millions with memorable performances in "Lathial", "Mia Bhai", "Noyon Moni", and "Golapi Ekhon Train E".
