Jaya Ahsan starts shooting for ‘Fereshtey’ with Iranian crew

Jaya Ahsan has been busy shooting for her new film "Fereshtey" in Dhaka. The film is directed by Iranian director Murtuza Atash Jamjam. There has been speculations about this productions for a while now but there was no confirmation from the actress or the production team.

However, Jaya Ahsan was seen taking a stroll in a rickshaw with a child in her lap, around Charukola and Ramna on Pohela Boisakh. The diva took to her Facebook to confirm the news.

"Thanks to Iranian director Murtuza Atash Jamjam and his Iranian team for giving me the opportunity to enjoy a day exploring our culture on the Bengali New Year. I have been shooting with them for my upcoming film 'Fereshtey' for the last two weeks," reads part of her photo caption. "I have been unable to share this news before as I was caught up with a lot.

Jaya new look for this production made her almost unrecognisable to her fans. She had opted for simple clothes and a darker skin tone for the film. Alongside Jaya, Nikita Nandini Shimu and a child artiste will also be seen in the film. The shooting of this production is slated to be done by this month.
