‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ becomes 2022’s highest-grossing Hindi film overseas

Netflix cancels deal with ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ after box office failure

"Laal Singh Chaddha" has earned USD 7.5 million after a week of its release while "Gangubai Kathiawadi" ($7.47 million), "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2" ($5.88 million), and "The Kashmir Files" ($5.7 million) earned at international markets. However, Telugu movie "RRR" grossed $20 million overseas.

Recently, the "Dangal" star lost out on a Rs 150 crore deal with Netflix due to its box office failure in Indian markets. "Laal Singh Chaddha" could barely generate Rs 50 crore at the domestic theatres.
