Lawrence Bishnoi wanted to kill Salman to “avenge Blackbuck shooting”

Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi wanted to kill Bollywood star Salman Khan, and he has already confessed to the police about it. The gangster has confessed to the murder of singer and Congress politician Sidhu Moosewala. According to reports by Indian media, in 2018, he had even bought a rifle to kill Salman Khan.

In 1998, Salman Khan killed a blackbuck deer in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. According to Delhi Police sources, Lawrence wanted to kill Salman to avenge the incident.

In his confession, the Punjab gangster said he had earlier instructed his brother-in-law Sampat Nehra to kill Salman. However, as soon as law enforcement agencies became smart to the threat, the investigation began.

According to the police, Sampat had gone to Mumbai to kill Salman with a gun. He had planned to attack Salman from the front. Lawrence had brought an RK spring rifle from a man named Dinesh Dagar for Rs 4 lakh, to attack Salman from a distance.

Lawrence Bishnoi had been arrested from Bihar's Gopalganj district earlier, in connection to the murder of Sidhu Moosewala.
