Liberation Docfest begins on March 11

The 10th edition of Liberation Docfest will be held at Liberation War Museum in Agargaon from March 11.

The five-day festival will showcase a total of 140 films from different countries and audiences will be able to enjoy the festival by buying tickets worth BDT 20 only.

Four films will be screened at the auditorium of the museum every day following health guidelines. The audience will also enjoy the films online.

The best Bangladeshi film will receive BDT 1,00,000 while the best international film will receive $ 1,000 as prize money.

Filmmaker Shaheen Dill-Riaz Ahmed, artist and art critique Mustafa Zaman, and actress Bonna Mirza will judge the films screened under the national category.

Pakistani short filmmaker Ammar Aziz, New Zealand's Alex Lee, and Mita Suri from England will evaluate the films screened under the international category.

The festival will end on March 15.
