Nipun appeals vote re-count for Film Artistes' Association election

The biennial election of Bangladesh Film Artiste's Association for years 2022-2024 witnessed an hattrick win for actor Zayed Khan. The controversial actor bagged 176 votes, while his competitor Nipun lost with just 13 votes difference.

Actress Nipun is dissatisfied with the result appealed for re-count of the votes in the election.

Sohanoor Rahman Sohan, head of the appellate division, confirmed the matter to The Daily Star.

"Nipun has reached out to the appellate division for re-counting the vote. The appellate division is recounting the votes, we will soon announce the result," mentioned Sohan.
