Rural characters do not suit me: Faria Shahrin
Faria Shahrin is extremely busy with Eid shootings. Besides Dhaka, they also take place in Pubail. Recently, she finished shooting for "Jomoj 15".
The actress will star opposite Mosharraf Karim in this project. An iteration of "Jomoj" comes out every Eid, with this being no exception.
The drama is directed by Azad Kalam.
"Mosharraf Karim is an excellent actor. He is a 'guru' of acting," said Faria Shahrin to The Daily Star. "There is a lot to learn from him."
She added that earlier, she had acted in the drama "Shada Manush" with the actor, which was appreciated as well.
Meanwhile, Faria has also completed the shooting of another Eid tele-fiction, consisting of 7 episodes. Titled "Tekka", the project is directed by Sagar Jahan.
"The story of the 'Tekka' is rural," says the actress. "The audience will see me as a village girl. I've suffered a lot, while shooting for it. Every day, I had to go from Dhaka to Pubail, facing a horrible traffic jam. After the shooting, I had to return to Dhaka."
In response to a question, she said, "To tell you the truth, rural characters don't suit me. The makeup man had to suffer a lot while trying to make me believable as a village girl."
Faria Shahrin has also worked in "Kool Panda" and "Prahelika", and is about to shoot for the Eid "Bachelor Point".
The promising actress will spend her Eid in Dhaka, with her family. "I'll eat, sleep and enjoy my own work on television," she concluded.
