Will spend time with family and watch my own films today: Bubly

Ever since her silver screen debut, Shobnom Bubly has been mesmerising audiences with her acting prowess and grace.

Her film, "Bidrohi",  will hit theatres this Eid. At the same time, five films featuring Bubly will have world premieres on television channels. We caught up with the actress to know about her Eid plans.

What projects are you currently busy with?

I am shooting in Cox's Bazaar for my upcoming silver screen project, "Betray". It is directed by Mohammad Iqbal. I will share the screen with Ziaul Roshan. I liked the script of the film, as it seemed different to me.

Your film, "Bidhori", co-starring Shakib Khan, has hit theatres. What are your expectations?
We shot the film in 2018. It got delayed due to the pandemic. I am glad that it is finally coming to theatres. Eid is one of our biggest festivals, and releasing films on this occasion is important for any artiste. I hope the audiences will appreciate our efforts.

What does the film offer to audiences?

"Bidrohi '' is a full-fledged commercial film and a complete entertainer. People should watch the film on the big screen because it has a good blend of drama, emotion and comedy. 

Could you tell us about your web film, which awaits release on Chorki? 

"Floor No 7", directed by Raihan Rafi, will be a gift for the audience this Eid. I am confident about it, as we all tried to do our best. 

How are you planning to spend Eid?

I will spend the occasion in Dhaka with my family. When we were children, we used to take salaami from elders. Now, we are the ones giving it to the young ones in the household. I am excited that five of my films will have world premieres on television channels, I am planning to watch them.
