Attackers killed at Turkey police HQ

One assailant was killed yesterday when Turkish security forces opened fire on two armed individuals who sought to attack the police headquarters in Istanbul, reports said. An accomplice escaped in the clash, which came a day after a top prosecutor was killed in a hostage drama, the Dogan news agency reported. Two police were wounded, it added.
