A helping hand for Taoshik
Taoshik Ahmed, a topper in his class at the Department of Development Studies, University of Dhaka, had started his career as a young professional at BRAC. In 2018, he was diagnosed with chronic lung cancer, following which he was treated with ten high-budget chemotherapy in India and China and was able to avoid immediate life risk. However, the fight is not over for Taoshik. He now requires immunotherapy to further combat cancer. Around Tk. 60 lakh is required for the treatment, which is quite impossible for his family to arrange on their own.
