The BAPA FoodPro International Expo 2026 will begin tomorrow at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka, showcasing the latest food processing and packaging technologies.

The three-day event, now in its 11th edition, will run until September 12. It will remain open to visitors from 10:00am to 7:00pm tomorrow and Friday, and until 6:30pm on the final day.

The Bangladesh Agro-Processors’ Association (BAPA) and Rainbow Exhibition and Event Management Services Limited (REEMS) are jointly organising the expo, organisers said at a press conference at the BAPA office in Dhaka yesterday.

More than 200 brands from 27 countries, including Bangladesh, China, India, Germany, Japan, the United States and the United Kingdom, will showcase more than 4,000 technology and machinery solutions.

The exhibitors will feature technologies for processing, filling, packaging, coding, quality inspection, cold chain and logistics. The expo will focus on AI-powered automation, robotics and sustainable packaging.

Alongside the main exhibition, the Food Ingredients Bangladesh Expo 2026 will also be held at the venue. It will showcase functional foods, nutraceuticals, alternative proteins and sustainable ingredients.

Speaking at the conference, BAPA President Mahbub Anam said, “The adoption of modern technology is essential for advancing Bangladesh’s agro-processing and food-processing sectors.”

Ahsan Khan Chowdhury, chairman of the Expo Organising Committee and chief executive of PRAN-RFL Group, said business uncertainties are prompting companies to strengthen their technological capabilities.

“BAPA FoodPro International Expo 2026 will enable companies to connect with the technologies, partners and industry insights they need,” he said.

More than 100 expert speakers will take part in technical sessions, regional conferences and seminars held alongside the expo.
