Philip Kotler to address Bangladeshi marketers on AI tomorrow
Philip Kotler, widely regarded as the father of modern marketing, will speak with Bangladeshi brand practitioners and marketers for the first time tomorrow.
He will discuss “How Marketing is Changing in the Age of Artificial Intelligence” with Mark Anupom Mollick, a Bangladesh-based management consultant, business strategist, corporate trainer and founder of Idean Consulting.
The session will be streamed live on Mark Anupom Mollick’s Facebook profile at 9:00pm.
Idean Consulting is organising the event. Waldemar Pfoertsch, professor of international business and co-author of the book “B2B Brand Management” with Philip, will deliver the keynote address.
The event will also feature a panel discussion, titled “AI in Marketing: Hype, Reality and Bangladesh’s Potential”, bringing together marketing and business leaders from different sectors.
The panellists will be Rezwanul Huque Khan, professor at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) of the University of Dhaka; Nafees Anwar Choudhury, head of brand marketing at Grameenphone; Md Azwaj Khan, general manager and head of marketing at Prothom Alo; Binay Das, director of marketing and sales at Eskayef Pharmaceuticals Limited; Md Tajdin Hassan, chief business officer of The Daily Star; and Shuvasish Bhowmick, managing director of ATEC Global.
Md Mahadi Faisal, director of marketing and growth at Shwapno, will moderate the discussion.
The organisers said registration is free and open to everyone. People from across the country have already started registering for the much-anticipated event.
