Mastercard ranks 20th on TIME's World's Best Companies of 2026 list

Mastercard has ranked 20th among 1,000 companies featured in TIME's World's Best Companies of 2026 list, published in partnership with Statista.

The annual ranking assesses companies across three areas: employee satisfaction, revenue growth, and sustainability transparency, including environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors, according to a statement.

Nvidia retained the top position, driven by continued demand for artificial intelligence chips and growth in the wider AI economy. Apple ranked third, while AstraZeneca and Deutsche Telekom placed fifth and seventh respectively.

Mastercard received an overall score of 89.07. 

The 2026 ranking also reflects the growing prominence of companies involved in artificial intelligence and related infrastructure.
