Al-Arafah Islami Bank hosts town hall meetings for Khulna, Barishal regions

Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC recently organised separate town hall meetings for managers and officials of the Khulna and Barishal regions at Grand Khulna in Sonadanga, Khulna.

Managers and officials from 17 branches and 15 sub-branches in the two regions took part in the daylong event. Mohd Rafat Ullah Khan, managing director and CEO of the bank, inaugurated the meetings as the chief guest, according to a press release.

In his address, Rafat Ullah said, “All of us associated with this institution are members of one family. This town hall meeting serves as an important platform for strengthening our mutual connection, reviewing our progress, and determining our future course of action.”

“Embracing the slogan ‘One Team, One Goal’, we must work together in unity and perform our respective responsibilities with dedication to achieve the bank’s continued growth and success.”

“We want each of our branches to improve service quality through shariah-based banking and capitalise on customers’ trust. Building a sustainable and modern Islamic bank will only be possible through collective efforts and by valuing everyone’s opinions,” he added.

Md Fazlur Rahman Chowdhury, Md Asaduzzaman Bhuiyan, Md Aminul Islam Bhuiyan, Mohammed Hossain, SM Abu Jafar, and Sayed Abul Hashem, deputy managing directors of the bank, attended the meetings.

Among others, Md Habibullah, Touhiduzzaman Fuad, and Abdul Wadud, senior executive vice-presidents; Jalal Ahmed and Md Majiber Rahman, executive vice-presidents; Mohammad Amir Hossain, senior vice-president; Mohammad Mahfujul Islam and Solaiman Al-Razi, heads of branch banking; and Kazi Md Sadik, vice-president, were also present.
